Eligibility For BHPE MAVERICKS
All players must be registered in the Fall & Winter Superleagues to be eligible for Mavericks.
Mavericks Teams Will Play Up:
- -U11 Mavericks → play in U13 Superleagues
- -U13 Mavericks → play in U15 Superleagues
- -U15 Mavericks → play in U18 Superleagues
Players can only play for one team – either Mavericks or their regular Superleagues age group.
The Alberta Cup Series
The Alberta Cup Series is the primary focus of the Mavericks program. Maverick teams will play in their OWN age division for the games. All games will be held at the Edmonton South Soccer Centre (Roper Road). The first 3 dates will be round robin play with the top 2 teams playing on in the Best of 3 Championship final and a chance to win the Alberta Cup.

BHPE HIGH PERFORMANCE
As part of our continued commitment to athlete development, we are proud to introduce BHPE High Performance, a new extension of the Mavericks program designed to support growth beyond the regular team experience.
BHPE High Performance will serve as the home for:
- -Skill specific clinics
- -Positional training
- -Camps and development series
- -Invitational events and off-season opportunities
This new branch of the program allows athletes from across the region to benefit from high quality instruction, mentorship, and game-focused development—even outside of formal team play.
Whether you’re looking to refine your technique, expand your hockey IQ, or challenge yourself through new formats and events, BHPE High Performance is designed to meet players where they are and help take them further.
