Mavericks U11 & U13 Shine at 2025 BHE 1 Minor Invitational
What a Weekend for Mavericks Ball Hockey
Over the May 16 long weekend, Mavericks Ball Hockey made its mark at the 2025 BHE Invitational. Our U11 and U13 teams competed in this friendly three day event, which featured six competitive teams in each division, primarily from the Edmonton area. Both Mavericks teams came ready to play and delivered strong performances, earning impressive 2nd place finishes.
From the opening faceoff to the final buzzer, the teams played with focus and determination. Every player rose to the occasion, showing discipline, teamwork, and a strong understanding of the game. As a result, both teams demonstrated that Mavericks Ball Hockey is developing athletes who are skilled, confident, and eager to learn.
This tournament was more than just a competition. In many ways, it offered a great opportunity for our players to continue growing as a group, apply their training, and build team chemistry in a high-energy environment. Not only did they perform well, but they also adapted quickly and improved with each game. The experience gained over the weekend will serve them well moving forward.
Additionally, we would like to thank BHE for hosting an organized and welcoming event. The chance to take part in a structured tournament allowed our players to test their skills against unfamiliar opponents. We are also incredibly grateful to our coaches for their preparation and leadership, and to the families for their continued support both on and off the floor.
Most importantly, thank you to our athletes for your effort, teamwork, and pride in representing Mavericks Ball Hockey.
This is only the beginning. Without a doubt, the future is bright. We are excited for what comes next.
